Phew! Pior do que o sistema de saude no Brasil?
Mas ouvi dizer que pelo menos os seguros de saude dai cobrem custos com psicanalise… deve ser para as pessoas se recuperarem do estresse com o atendimento.
De certa forma, sim ,pior que no Brasil….
No números gerais, ainda são melhores que o Brasil, no entanto estão cada vez mais distantes dos números da Europa e cada vez mais próximos de nós: nós melhoramos, eles pioram.
Não fiz este estudo, mas certamente, entre aqueles de renda mais baixa, o atendimento no Brasil é, por incrível que pareça, melhor. Afinal, é muito fácil ser melhor que nada.
Acredito que a vantagem dos números do americanos é apenas reflexo do fato deles serem mais ricos, Explico: Se fossemos montar uma amostra das populações com mesma faixa de renda, os brasileiros estariam em vantagem.
Um exemplo: o custo de medicamentos aqui é muito maior que na maior parte do mundo. Um contra-senso, já que boa parte da pesquisa e das pantentes pertence aos EUA.
Ainda que imperfeito, o fato de termos, em princípio, o direito ao acesso à saúde faz com que a empresas de seguro saúde tenham um poderoso concorrente: elas não podem ser piores que o governo. O custo do governo, do ponto de vista do consumidor individual é zero – já está pago no IR. Se o seguro saúde recusa tudo, eu paro de pagar e vou para o governo.
Tive que fazer uma ressonância no Brasil. Pelo governo seriam 6 meses de fila, se não me engano. Com o plano de sáude, fiz na mesma semana. Aqui, pelo que soube, quem tem plano de sáude (alguns planos) tbm espera meses.
Toda semana, nos telejornais daqui, notícias de pessoas que morrem por não poder pagar tratamentos de câncer, isto na maior potência do planeta. Não me parece que os in order to form a more perfect union, pursuit of happinesses etc não tem funcionado muito bem these days.
